God's Plan

The good news of the Bible is that Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross to save us from our sins (John 3:16-17). However, there is something all must do to contact the blood of Jesus so our sins can be forgiven (Matthew 7:21-23). Each person must respond to God's grace with obedient faith (Hebrews 5:8-9). The blood of Christ purifies every sincere believer who confesses Christ, repents of all sins, and is immersed in water (baptized) into Christ for the forgiveness of sins (Mark 16:15-16; Matthew 10:32; Acts 2:36-38; Romans 6:1-7; 1 Peter 3:20-21). When a person does this they will be added to the Lord's true church (Acts 2:47; 1 Corinthians 12:13). The Bible says nothing about a "sinner's prayer" for initial salvation. The faith that saves is the faith that obeys (James 2:14-26). It is urgent that you obey the gospel before this life ends (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10).
